Betty "Grammy" Proulx 1926-2012

The world lost a Great Grammy today, and she was Great in so many ways - she was a huge influence on Dada and Mama.  Grammy, along with Great Pa, her loving partner of 67 years, taught Dada everything about unconditional love, and were (and still are) the perfect example - the GOLD STANDARD - of a committed, enduring couple, so much in love.

Robbie is so lucky to have met Grammy on a few occasions, and through her love, passed down from her and Great Pa, through Gramma, and Mama and Dada it's certain she'll never be forgotten.

We'll all miss you, Grammy . . . 

Day at the Fair

Robbie had such a great time at the Washington County Fair on Wednesday, that he demanded to go back on Sunday! He got to see some of his favorite things:

Grampa & Robbie Have A Slight Disagreement

Robbie met Grampa for lunch - it was his first time at New Dragon, a long time favorite of the Sweeney family.

Doodlin' Dancin'

Robbie got to meet his great-grandmother, Grammy, and was a captive audience to her big hit, "Doodlin' Dancin'." Grammy used to sing this to Daddy when he was small.

Happy Birthday Mama!

Robbie helped friends and family wish mama a happy birthday. He can't wait until he's old enough to have some of that Reese's Peanut Butter ice cream cake!

Happy Mother's Day

Mama and The Blube celebrated their very first Mother's Day with flowers, donuts, a sentimental record and lots of love! Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there!

History Repeats Itself

So, The Blube christened another of his Daddy's shirts, just like Daddy used to do thirty-something years ago! It's a good thing they've invented burp cloths since then - The Big D. just has to remember to use one!

Robbie meets Robert

Robbie met one of his namesakes, the original Robert Sweeney, and Helen too. He had a lot to say.

Pillow Talk

Robbie enjoys a good chat after his breakfast in the morning. He loves to sit up in his Boppy and talk away. Recently, he's had big smiles for Mommy and Daddy - this, of course, drives them absolutely ga-ga!
